On the site of a 100-year-old garden and streamway, a thoughtfully designed development of 225 homes is taking shape. This new community will feature a clubhouse, pool, cabanas, pickleball courts, and a “tot lot” to foster connection, play, and relaxation among neighbors. 

The centerpiece of the development, the clubhouse, draws inspiration from the timber cabins found in centuries-old forests and farms. Its design incorporates heavy timber framing and metal roofing, creating a rustic yet timeless aesthetic. By orienting the clubhouse to align with the natural features of the site and opening the roofline, guests are treated to a stunning view through the trees of the historic stream and garden beyond. The use of stone anchors the building within its environment, complementing the limestone outcroppings scattered across the property. 

Extending well beyond the building’s walls, the clubhouse roof shelters an expansive outdoor terrace, complete with an oversized fireplace—perfect for chilly winter evenings. The terrace is subtly elevated above the surrounding landscape, ensuring unobstructed views while offering a seamless connection to the outdoors. A few steps lead down from the terrace to a built-in firepit, providing an additional space for gathering, s’mores making, and story telling. 

In addition to the clubhouse, three detached structures enhance the community amenities: a pool house and two freestanding cabanas. The pool house serves as a hub for the community pool, housing restrooms and support spaces. Its design echoes the clubhouse with stone wainscoting, timber cladding, and metal roofing, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic. The cabanas, with their inclined heavy timber frames, offer shaded retreats for guests. Their design complements the clubhouse terrace, while the low garden walls behind the cabanas provide added privacy from the nearby parking area.
